Illustrations for a text by Emily Hornby; a narrative focused on the formation of the Grand Canyon through the personification of the Colorado River.

Drawn in Winter 2018, using chalk pastel.

Upward, Into the Woods

A piece which investigates elements of myth in the redwood forest, taking inspiration from Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park.

Completed in Fall 2017, using charcoal, hand-cut paper, pins, redwood bark and needles, and ripped paper.
